Hi there
What’s our craic?
My name is Sarah-Jayne but people call me SJ. An alternative & creative event videographer based in Belfast, Northern Ireland.
I specialise in all things weddings, promos for businesses & music videos.
When it comes to weddings- I completely understand that choosing a videographer is hard, so my main piece of advice would be to find someone whose portfolio matches your style. I’d describe my style as modern, creative & relaxed. I’m a videographer who loves to immerse myself in your big day, I want you to feel like I’m just another guest…but with a camera. An adaptive style means that I’ll approach every wedding separately with the idea of capturing your day & telling your story, meaning that every video will feel different. I love capturing natural moments during weddings (so no awkward posing) while also emphasising the amazing atmosphere at your day. That means- lots of laughs, lots of kisses & lots of love. No awkward posing also means- a documentary style. I want to see the ugly criers, the double-chinned laughers, the “this is so cringey- but lets make out’ers”, the tipsy dancers & the “we’re in this for lifers”. Sound like your cup of tea? You may have found your gal…
“I want to be a part of your big day and give you and your favourite people a film to cherish for years to come”- SJ
Meet Jim…
It's not just me here at SAYNE HQ- if you need two videographers at your wedding my second shooter/ best mate/ biggest supporter/ hubby, Jim will be with me on the day. We're hopeless romantics who love a good wedding and thankfully love working together so we make a great team. Jim is a talented filmmaker by night but a teacher by day meaning he is only free to help during the Summer months & weekends. If you’re set on a second shooter outside of this timeframe- I have a few talented filmmaker pals who may be able to help a gal out.
What’s our vibe?
Good question.
We’re all about; Good movies, cups of tea, trips to the cinema, Fleetwood Mac, Bladerunner, making short films and a very exciting documentary project, local music + gigs, hanging out with our pals, Indiana Jones/ Harrison Ford (I’m strangely in love with him…sorry Jim.) and nights on the sofa binging a new show etc etc.
